Hello, I am Aina Khan. I launched and head the Islamic and Asian department at Duncan Lewis solicitors. I have my own team of experienced solicitors and I was able to broaden the reach of my work across Duncan Lewis’s 50 offices across the UK and also, to develop and expand my international work.

There is excellent support available to me whenever I need it, no matter how big or small the query is, including IT support and finance support. This allows me to work uninterrupted and to focus on my clients, which is something I did not get to do as my own boss. I am married with two children and of course they are my priority. I am able to work as much and as often as I like, so I can spend time with the children when they need me, for example at school events. The best part of consulting with Duncan Lewis is that I can work whenever I want and pursue my own interests when I need, so expanding my public policy meetings with government and parliamentarians has been easy for me and that is the ultimate freedom.
