I am a Director in the Family and Child Care department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, having joined the firm in June 2022. I supervise a team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers alongside Director Krina Parmar based at our office in Milton Keynes.

I am 10 years PQE having been admitted as a solicitor in 2012. I specialise in public and private children law matters as well as non molestation injunctions. I am passionate about helping and supporting my clients to ensure that they achieve the best possible outcome. I have extensive expertise in the following areas:
  • Care/ emergency protections orders
  • Sexual abuse cases
  • Non accidental injury cases
  • FGM protection orders
  • Culturally complex cases
  • Cross jurisdiction cases
I regularly represent parents, children and family members in private children law cases including prohibited steps order, specific issue orders as well as special guardianship orders. I take a pragmatic approach to ensure that the client's best interest are met. I work with a number of organisations to support vulnerable clients as well as offer pro bono work where necessary.

Wherever possible I ensure to undertake all my own advocacy in all courts from Magistrates, County Court and the High Court so that my clients are given continuous service. I am fluent in Urdu and Punjabi.
