Sophie Burchett

I am a Solicitor within the firm's City and Luton offices, specialising in both public and private law children matters and representing children, parents, grandparents and extended family members in a wide range of matters. I am a member of the Law Society's Children Panel. I am also a Resolution trained Family Mediator (all issues).

I have experience representing vulnerable clients, including both adults and children, within both care proceedings and complex private law children matters for Child Arrangement Orders which involve serious allegations of physical, sexual and/or emotional harm and/or exploitation. I have experience representing both the alleged perpetrator and other parent or family members and am also regularly instructed by the appointed children's guardian to represent vulnerable child(ren) involving in such matters.
