I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Immigration department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I have gained extensive experience in a wide variety of complex cases since I started working at Duncan Lewis as a Caseworker in December 2021. I am based in the City of London office and I work under the supervision of Director, Vilash Gami.
My experience involves representing clients on an eclectic range of matters, including initial asylum claims, fresh claims, appeals, human trafficking claims, applications on private and family life and indefinite leave to remain applications.
I have significant experience dealing with vulnerable clients, including those suffering from complex psychological difficulties and victims of torture and trafficking.
I also have extensive experience on public law matters, bringing claims for judicial review, including accommodation challenges, unlawful detention, false imprisonment and challenging negative decisions in relation to discretionary leave to remain/temporary permission to stay in the United Kingdom, as a victim of trafficking. It is notable that I achieve immaculately successful outcomes in these cases, securing justice and awards of damages for clients.
I take both legal aid work and privately funded cases.
I am fluent in Farsi and Dari, and I am able to assist clients in these languages.
