Contentious Trusts and Probate / South East
I am a Solicitor in the Wills and Probate department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I specialise in contentious probate and have experience in a wide range of matters, including:
- Claims under Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
- Claims to remove executors under section 50 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985;
- Claims for orders to compel executors to pay sums due under CPR 64;
- Disputes as to validity of wills; and
- Proprietary estoppel claims.
I also frequently work on non-contentious probate matters.
In addition, I carry out work with the civil litigation team at Duncan Lewis and have worked on a variety of civil litigation matters, including:
- Contractual disputes;
- Director and shareholder disputes;
- Tortious claims;
- Insolvency;
- Landlord/tenant claims;
- Property litigation;
- Debt recovery; and
- Enforcement of orders and judgments.
I have also practised in other areas of law, including employment, corporate and commercial. I frequently use this knowledge and experience to assist me in dealing with contentious probate and civil litigation matters.
In my practice, I always take a pragmatic approach and consider my clients' objectives at every stage of the matter.
