Adam Bloodworth

I am a Solicitor based in the Birmingham office at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. My specialisms are in Family and Children Law, with considerable experience of resolving the issues that flow from the breakdown of a relationship, including:

Divorce matters;
Financial matters;
Protection from harm; and
Matters pertaining to the arrangements for the children (whether between parents, or with the involvement of Social Services).

Protection from harm is a particularly dynamic area of law at the moment with ever increasing awareness of the forms that abuse can take. I am alive to the various different forms of abuse that people can experience, whether it be physical, emotional, psychological or sexual; and I am alive to domestic abuse on children.

In close relationships the appropriate protection might be a Non-molestation Order and Occupation Order, but I am also experienced in gaining protections for those where there is no close relationship under the Protection from Harassment Act

I am a robust advocate with a wealth of experience representing people in Court. As such, the empathy and understanding that I have for the case can be carried beyond my office door and into the Court room.
