I am a caseworker in the Public Law department of Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I work within a team of caseworkers, solicitors and trainees in the firm’s Head Office in the City of London under the supervision of Director Bahar Ata and Solicitor Joshua Chua.
I work on day-to-day progression of cases in a number of areas, including immigration, asylum, human rights and judicial review. This involves corresponding with third parties such as clients, experts, counsel and the courts, as well as drafting representation on a wide range of matter to the Home Office.
I have recently worked on a number of judicial reviews challenging unlawful detention, removals to unsafe countries and inadmissibility of asylum claims under the Immigration Rules, as well as preparing first and fresh claims for asylum, and human rights submissions.
