Woman ‘evicted from asylum accommodation’ in sub-zero temperatures (The Independent) (24 February 2021)

A woman was evicted from her asylum accommodation and forced to leave with no alternative housing provision, prompting concerns round the rules enforced in hotels managed by Home Office contractors during the pandemic. The woman’s lawyer, Maria Petrova-Collins, had been preparing to intervene in the case before her client was able to return to the hotel and said this was ”not an isolated example.”
