You wait for someone else to tell who you are and what is your country.” Lewis Kett recently partook in the recent European Network on Statelessness (ENS) Conference in Budapest following the launch of the report "Protecting Stateless Persons from Arbitrary Detention: An Agenda for Change". On his return he wrote about the issue of statelessness and his analysis of why the UK (and its European counterparts) is slow-moving and complacent in its attempts to address the issue of statelessness.
