The Duncan Lewis Solicitors Islamic department has organised for volunteers to attend the Legal Clinic at the Global Peace & Unity event at Excel London, 24th and 15th November 2013.

The Global Peace & Unity event was launched in 2005 and attracted over 25,000 visitors at its first inauguration and since then is considered an “indelible milestone for the Muslim community in the UK”.

Over the course of the weekend, a selection of organised activities will take place, aiming to demonstrate the “demographic diversity attracted to the festival.”

These will include seminars held by a number of national and international speakers providing their insights into a variety of subjects and interactive workshops which visitors can share ideas and “forge a new spirit of co-operation and understanding”.

There will also be an Exhibition Hall featuring stalls; funfair, sports and adventure zone and the Nasheed Concert, which includes a variety of new and world-famous performers.

As well as the events, the Global Peace & Unity Festival will feature a number awards ceremonies; including the awarding of the Lifetime Achievement Awards and the Friends of Islam Awards.

The venue, Excel London one of London’s largest international exhibition centers and caters for a variety events, exhibitions and conferences.

100,000 are expected to attend this major event and Duncan Lewis' Muslim lawyers, who speak all major languages and will be there to advise on Family, Immigration, Childcare and Housing .

Head of Duncan Lewis Islamic Dept, Aina Khan, will be there to give advice on her expertise, Islamic Family Law and Sharia.
