During the first Public Law Outline Meeting the Local Authority will set out their concerns as set out in the letter before proceedings regarding the children and discuss this with the parents. The Local Authority will also set out expectations of the parents and signpost the parents to any support or work they should engage with and any deadlines.
Public Law Outline Meetings will then be held to review the concerns and any progress the parents’ have made.
If at any stage the concerns in relation to the child increase, the Local Authority may make an application to the Court for a court order.
