Jemma Gates

I am a Solicitor and Supervisor in our Milton Keynes Office. I have experience working in Family and Children Law proceedings for the past 8 years and in particular I specialise in proceedings in respect of children and domestic abuse.
I have experience representing parents in care proceedings where sexual exploitation has been the main concern and the reason for the child being removed from the care of a parent. I ensure that I deal with these cases in a sensitive manner and guide parents through the process and the evidence available to ensure they fully understand the proceedings.
Proceedings of this nature often require expert assessments to be completed, I advise and assist clients on the necessity of such assessments and what parents can expect if engaging in assessments.
