A 30-year-old man has admitted twice breaking into Madonna's £10 million London mansion. One year before the most recent break in, Grzegorz Matlok had gained access to the singer's Wiltshire estate where he tried on her clothes and those belonging to her ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
On March the 12th of this year, Mr. Matlok travelled from his home in Poland and smashed his way into the home after reaching the balcony with the aid of a rope. The polish national proceeded to break into two of Madonna’s adjoining houses and stole a can of Red Bull from one. Mr. Matlok claims that he had received "special messages" from Madonna, and informed Mental Health staff that he would return to the property on his release.
Security guards at Madonna’s two homes were called to the disturbance but Mr. Matlok managed to successfully hide himself from view. Mr. Matlok then went on to roam through the two houses, disturbing Madonna's personal belongings. He was caught when the owner of the third house, film director Nathan Rissman, caught him inside of his home.
Mr. Matlock has been remanded in custody at a secure hospital until his sentencing on October the 10th. Judge Deborah Taylor has ordered a second psychiatric report to be conducted prior to sentencing.
