Olamide Olayemi

I am a Director and Solicitor within the Child Care and Family department at Duncan Lewis' Leicester Branch.

I represent both publicly funded (legal aid) and privately funded clients within all areas of Family Law including divorce, financial disputes, cohabitation and private children’s matters. I also assist and advise clients who are victims of domestic abuse and who request protective orders. Occasionally these instructions are required to be dealt with on an emergency basis to ensure that protective orders can be put in place within a short time frame.

Since joining Duncan Lewis I have acquired experience representing parties in care proceedings where concerns relate to domestic violence, neglect, non-accidental injury drug and alcohol misuse and mental illness. I have also acquired experience in conducting my own advocacy in family proceedings.

I am a member of the Law Society Children Panel.
