Duncan Lewis is thrilled to welcome back family and child care director Jasbir Raindi to manage a large team in the Midlands.

Jasbir is a widely experienced solicitor who initially joined Duncan Lewis in 2015 and supervised a team comprising trainee solicitors, solicitors and caseworkers.

He left in 2018 to help set up a fresh office in the Midlands for the National Legal Service Solicitors, where he started working alone then built & managed a team of more than 20 within the first 18 months.

Deciding this year that the time was right for a change, Jasbir has returned to Duncan Lewis and taken the reins of a large, highly successful team in the same region with a view to continuing our growth and improving our already outstanding reputation still further.

Jasbir said: “I know from experience that Duncan Lewis is the perfect fit for me, I am excited about building on the team’s excellent reputation and very much look forward to supporting them.

“I will also be focussed on growing my team and our public children law client base. My role has changed since my previous time at the firm, I am returning to a larger Midlands team. Based at the company’s Birmingham office, I plan to work closely with my fellow directors for Luton & Milton Keynes. My overall aim remains the same - to ensure my team offers the best advice, representation and client care, it can to make us the first choice for new and existing clients.”

Joining Duncan Lewis in August 2015 as a child care supervisor at the Birmingham and Cardiff offices, Jasbir quickly progressed to becoming a director within our Leicester and Milton Keynes offices, in June 2016.

He specialises in section 8 Children Act 1989 Orders including child arrangements, prohibited steps & specific issue orders, Family Law Act 1996 orders, including non-molestation & occupation orders and the full range of child care and adoption proceedings, representing children, parents, family members and Intervenor along with forced marriage protection and FGM orders and much more.

He holds Law Society Children Law and Family Law Advanced accreditations.

Jasbir manages a large and talented team and will work alongside fellow directors Krina Parmar, Rupinder Jagdev and Richard Gray.
