I am a Caseworker within the Public Law department at Duncan Lewis, a role I began in October 2024.
I previously conducted work experience within the department which not only gave me an insight into the day-to-day operations of the company but also provided me with key experience in assisting clients in legal aid areas as well as improving my drafting skills. So while this is my first role following my undergraduate law degree, my familiarity with the company means I will be able to quickly integrate into life at Duncan Lewis and efficiently take instructions to assist clients from the beginning of my time here.
Under the supervision of Director Bahar Ata and her team, I will be working from the City of London office in a range of public law areas, however, most of my work will be centred around immigration and human rights issues such as asylum and protection claims.
I have only just started my legal career, but I am keen to make a real difference for our clients and do whatever I can to assist them in their legal claims.
