I am a Trainee Solicitor within the Immigration and Public Law departments based in Duncan Lewis' Swansea office. I assist director Vinita Templeton on a range of immigration and asylum matters, including refugee family reunions and asylum applications.
I have represented clients in a range of immigration and asylum matters, on a both a publicly (legal aid) and privately funded basis. I also strive to secure exceptional case funding where necessary. I have assisted clients to establish successful asylum claims based on a range of complex convention reasons, including political opinion, race, sexuality, and gender identity. I have experience of successfully appealing against Home Office decisions in the First Tier Immigration Tribunal, including success at the review stage.
I support clients in completing a range of immigration applications, including ILR, British citizenship, family reunion visas, and visit visas.
I also work with clients in immigration detention, both in prisons and immigration removal centres, to secure immigration bail and challenge deportation decisions.
I also regularly assist Vinita Templeton in judicial review matters, challenging Home Office decision making and obtaining interim relief.
