I am a Family Solicitor at Duncan Lewis Solicitors.

I specialise in private family work only and I have 6 years post qualification experience. I have considerable knowledge and experience in all areas of family law, including;
  • Divorce and nullity matters
    I advise and assist in all types of divorce and nullity matters, including straightforward divorce/nullity proceedings as well as defended proceedings. I have regularly taken instructions from clients whereby the other party refuses to engage in proceedings. I have been successful in obtaining a divorce for my client's in these matters as well as also obtaining costs orders against the other party.
  • Judicial separation matters
  • Financial matters
    I regularly assist and advise clients in respect of financial relief matters from the commencement of their matter through to contested final hearings. I have also taken instructions from clients whereby they require an enforcement application to be made in respect of a final order that has been breached. I have also assisted clients in reaching out of Court settlements in an amicable and non-confrontational manner. These out of Court settlements that have been reached have had Consent Orders filed at Court to confirm the terms of the agreement as well as what has been agreed.
  • Child arrangements applications
    I have a high level of knowledge in all types of child arrangements applications, including simple matters whereby a parent wants to have contact with their child, through to complex matters whereby an emergency application needs to be made to Court to prevent a parent from removing a child from the jurisdiction of England and Wales.
  • Injunctive proceedings, namely Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders
    I have assisted clients in injunctive proceedings whereby they require the Courts urgent protection. I have also represented clients in contested injunctive proceedings.

I have also regularly attended Court to represent my client's in respect of divorce/nullity, financial relief, child arrangements or injunctive matters.

I can read and speak Punjabi.
