I am a Solicitor based in the Birmingham office at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. My specialisms are in Family and Children Law, with considerable experience of Care proceedings. This is where Social Services are involved and may be contemplating the removal of children from the care of parents. This is not just down to the complex law involved in such proceedings, but also the emotional drain caused by such proceedings.

I have significant knowledge and experience of Care proceedings, such that I am fully versed in the law which applies but I also have an awareness and understanding of the practical and emotional issues which can arise and need to be addressed to ensure a positive outcome.

I have significant experience in dealing with matters where sexual exploitation is a live issue. I am able to deal with these complex cases in a sensitive manner.
