I am a Fee-earning Caseworker in the Family & Childcare Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors and I work under the supervision of Solicitor Ms Katrina Mogey.
My extensive experience includes providing guidance and advocacy in various legal proceedings, on behalf of clients involved in Private and Public Children matters. I represent both Legal Aid and privately funded clients.
I closely work with clients who have experienced domestic abuse and those facing extreme vulnerability. My approach to client representation is marked by empathy and a strong commitment to safeguarding their best interests throughout their legal challenges.
Furthermore, I have gained a wealth of experience advising and assisting clients in a range of Family Court proceedings, including divorce proceedings, forced marriage protection orders, international child abduction matters and family injunctions related to domestic violence within the Family Courts.
In Private Children law proceedings, my expertise extends to handling challenging and complex situations, especially those involving long-standing parental conflicts or allegations of abuse that necessitate law enforcement and local authorities' involvement. I firmly believe in the value of seeking negotiated resolutions in private law matters, recognising the benefits it brings to all parties involved, with particular consideration for the children's well-being.
