I am a Caseworker in the Housing team based at the City of London office. I work under the supervision of Manjinder Kaur Atwal and Richard Mahal. My matters include various housing-related issues, including disrepair litigation, homelessness cases and judicial reviews, possession and eviction proceedings, and more. A large portion of my work is subsidised by Legal Aid.
Before joining Duncan Lewis, I co-founded a refugee-aid student group during my time at university (‘Cambridge Freedom from Torture’), where I fundraised for asylum aid and volunteered in Calais, France. I continued this work with Cambridge Amnesty International, organising further fundraising efforts. I was also the Founding Co-Editor in Chief of the Clare College Law Journal, and I was the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Cambridge University Human Rights Law Journal.
I also work as a legal researcher for the OHDRG completing commissioned research for the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in my free time and I am fluent in Hindi.
