- Divorce, Financial Settlements & Cohabitation Disputes: I provide comprehensive legal assistance in all aspects of divorce and the division of assets. This includes advising on financial settlements, spousal maintenance, and the drafting of pre- and post-nuptial agreements. I also support cohabiting couples in resolving property disputes under TOLATA (Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act). My approach is centred on achieving fair, practical solutions through negotiation, including the preparation of Separation Agreements, with the aim of minimising conflict and reducing the need for lengthy court proceedings.
- Child Contact & Family Law Orders: I represent clients in matters involving Child Arrangement Orders, Non-Molestation Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders, Occupation Orders, and Specific Issue Orders. These orders address a variety of concerns, including disputes over child contact, decisions about a child’s welfare, protection from domestic abuse, housing arrangements, and other important family matters. My approach is to help clients achieve fair and practical outcomes, ensuring their safety, rights, and interests are upheld.
- Child Protection & Local Authority Proceedings: I advise and represent clients in cases where local authorities are involved due to concerns about a child's welfare. This includes handling Interim Care Orders and Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs), providing expert guidance through the complexities of child protection proceedings and helping families secure a child’s future in the most appropriate and protective way.
- Court Representation & Advocacy: As an experienced advocate, I regularly represent clients in court, particularly in hearings concerning child safety, contact disputes, and safeguarding matters, ensuring their rights and concerns are effectively presented and protected.
