Profile / Experience
I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Child Care Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, based in the Milton Keynes office. I work closely with Director and Solicitor, Shazia Rana. My role involves dealing with cases of Public and Private Children Law.
Currently, the majority of my work is within Public Law and assisting clients in care proceedings. I recognise the importance that every parent places on their children and I am passionate about ensuring each parent is given an equal opportunity to have their child returned to their care.
My role enables me to liaise and assist clients with their concerns on a daily basis and ensure they are regularly informed on the progression of their case. I have experience dealing with vulnerable clients including those who may be victim of domestic, physical and/or emotional abuse.
I also have experience with clients who during proceedings may have cognitive or psychological difficulty and I ensure they are provided with the appropriate support during proceedings.
