I joined Duncan Lewis in October 2024 as a Caseworker in the Actions Against Public Authorities Department, based in the City of London office. As a new starter, I have been looking at client enquiries under the guidance of Graeme Rothwell and Amirah Furreedun.
Since graduating from the University of Sussex in 2021, I have been working in the third sector. Initially, I supported clients in recovery to navigate the criminal justice system, I continued this work in the community with a specialised focus on alcohol and non-opiate clients.
Prior to this, I volunteered for the CLOCK project, where I would assist litigants in person in Brighton Family Court. During my final year in university, I joined the criminal justice legal clinic where I and three other final-year students worked on a joint enterprise murder appeal, taking instructions from JENGbA. These experiences have guided me to enter a legal career where I can assist clients in fighting for their rights when impacted by the State.
