I am a Caseworker in the Crime department at Duncan Lewis, based in the Harrow and City of London offices.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham and undertook the Legal Practice Course at neighbouring Nottingham Trent University. Prior to joining Duncan Lewis, I spent several years working for the Crown Prosecution Service’s Specialist Fraud Division, as well as periods with boutique criminal defence practices and the London Coroners Court.
I have experience in dealing with a broad range of criminal matters including the very most serious and sensitive cases. I work closely with our team of solicitors and advocates and my caseload falls under the supervision of Director Sunjay Versani.
My case load includes cases legally aided and private cases in the Magistrates' Court, Crown Court and Police Station. I regularly advise clients before preliminary hearings, draft applications and Defence Case Statements and brief internal and external advocates. These cases include allegations of homicide, serious violence and sexual offences. I also am currently completing the Police Station Accreditation and have advised clients at police stations under supervision.
In my time away from work I enjoy producing music, judging debates and practising martial arts.
