Profile / Experience

I qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024 after completing my training contract at a top 60 independent firm. I joined Duncan Lewis as a Solicitor in the Child Care and Family team in November 2024. I am based in the City of London office and I regularly advise and assist clients across London and Kent. I am available to meet clients in person and/or remotely.

I am deeply committed to providing expert legal advice and support to individuals and families facing a range of personal and emotional legal challenges. With a strong foundation in both academic excellence and practical experience, I am driven by a passion for family law and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of my clients.

I have gained valuable experience representing parents, grandparents, husbands, wives and other individuals in public law, private law, divorce and financial remedy matters which have included: non-molestation orders; prohibited steps orders; specific issues orders; child arrangement orders; care orders; supervision orders; non-accidental injury; fictitious illness; emergency protection orders; deprivation of liberty orders; secure accommodation orders; special guardianship orders; rule 16.4; parents with mental health conditions, drug and alcohol addictions, cognitive impairments, and lacking litigation capacity requiring an official solicitor to be appointed; sexual abuse; neglect; emotional and physical harm; forced marriage orders; adoption; divorce and financial settlements.

I also act for parents in pre-proceedings meetings, under the public law outline.

My experience has equipped me with a well-rounded understanding of the complexities involved in family law and honed my ability to navigate sensitive situations with care and professionalism. I approach each case with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes whilst minimising conflict and supporting my clients through difficult times. My strong communication skills allow me to quickly build trust and rapport with clients and other parties. I believe in providing clear, empathetic guidance and creating an open, supportive environment for clients to feel comfortable throughout their case. I have experience in representing vulnerable clients including those who suffer from mental health issues, disabilities and those where English is not their first language.

As part of my role, I also assist domestic violence and family charities to provide legal advice in my areas of specialism.

I have experience in handling publicly funded (legal aid) and privately funded matters. I am experienced in assisting clients to obtain legal aid (if eligible) to fund their case and advising private clients using affordable fixed fees and hourly rate pricing packages.

I am a member of Resolution and YRes. I also continue to mentor law students.
