Majeja Miah

I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Child Care Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I have extensive experience working with parents within care proceedings and PLO matters. I also have experience assisting in private children proceedings. I have drafted witness statements on behalf of clients and prepared various applications to the Court including C2 Applications, C100 Applications and Consent Orders. In addition, with regard to court hearings, I have prepared court bundles and briefs for counsel.

I have significant experience working with vulnerable clients. For example, I have assisted in representing the respondent parents in serious non-accidental injury cases within child care proceedings. During these cases, I have had to provide ongoing support to the client.
