Profile / Experience

I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Child Care Department of Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I am supervised by Director, Emily Wright. I have gained experience in a wide range of family law matters since joining the firm in June 2022.

I assist clients in both public and private family law matters. I often assist clients in applications for Child Arrangements Orders (for their children to live, or spend time with them), as well as Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issues Orders.

I am also experienced in assisting clients with applications for Non-Molestation Orders and supporting clients through these proceedings. I often complete my own advocacy and represent clients in these applications myself.

In addition to the above, I assist with the progression of public law family matters including pre-proceedings (PLO) and care proceedings which have been initiated by the Local Authority. I have experience in working with clients throughout these proceedings and I am passionate about ensuring that clients have access to legal advice and feel supported throughout all stages of proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, I gained experience in assisting clients through divorce and financial remedy proceedings.
