I am a Solicitor in the Family and Childcare department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I have experience representing clients in a wide range of family and children matters, including Public Law and Private Law Children matters. My work includes representing clients in respect of applications for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
From the very beginning of my career, I developed knowledge and experience working with survivors of domestic abuse and I have plenty of knowledge and experience of this area of law, which enables me to support and advise those who have experienced such abuse. This work has provided me with a good understanding of what survivors have experienced and what they require in order to move forward with their lives.
Where possible, I undertake my own advocacy and I am passionate about representing clients from all backgrounds who find themselves in need of legal advice and representation. I have experience representing clients experiencing mental health difficulties, as well as representing clients with learning difficulties and clients for whom English is not their first language.
I recognise and understand that cases involving domestic abuse are delicate and I am committed to supporting each and every client, from the start of the process (including assisting the client to assess whether they are eligible for Legal Aid and making Legal Aid Applications) until the matter is resolved.
I am sensitive, professional and well-prepared to advise and represent every client. I am keen to help those most vulnerable and I pride myself on giving one hundred percent to all my work with only one intention of securing the best outcome for every client.
