Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Family and Child Care Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors and I am based in the Leicester Office. I work under the supervision of director, Olamide Olayemi. I joined Duncan Lewis in August 2024 after completing my LLB Law undergraduate degree.
I have experience in dealing with a range of clients that have different needs. I am able to assist clients who are vulnerable and/or have suffered from traumatic events such as sexual abuse, misdiagnosis and unexpected deaths. I am able to support new and existing clients in a wide range of family and child care matters.
My role primarily involves assisting director, Olamide Olayemi with cases, including preparing documents and speaking to clients and third parties in public and private law proceedings such as child arrangement order matters, care proceedings where the Local authority is involved, and applications for contact and residence.
I have previously undertaken a legal placement year in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury, as well as gained Relationship Based Social Work experience in practice with children and families, assisting in Child Protection conferences, Children in Need and Step Down evaluation meetings.
