I am a Chartered Legal Executive and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, CILEX within the Criminal Defence department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I work under the supervision of Director Sunjay Versani in the City and Harrow offices.
After completing my law degree in 2005, I embarked on a career at the Bar of England and Wales. I graduated from the Inns of Court School of Law (now City Law School) in 2006, and in 2007 I took up my first position in a law firm that specialised in Criminal Defence work.
I am an accredited Police Station Representative, and regularly assist clients during their interviews.
I have extensive experience in dealing with all Criminal Law matters and regularly receive instructions across the offence spectrum. I also have experience in dealing with appellate cases and extradition matters.
I provide a proactive and robust approach to legal disputes, whilst being sensitive to the emotions that are inevitably raised. I am also passionate about promoting the concept of justice and achieving the best possible outcome for clients.
I am an experienced Litigator in both Magistrates' Court and Crown Court matters.
In 2024, I was admitted as a Fellow of CILEX.
I am experienced in serious criminal matters, with a particular focus on gang affiliation and mental health concerns.
I have worked for numerous law firms since 2007 and prior to attending university, I was responsible for Legal Aid applications at East Berkshire Magistrates’ Court.
