I am a Director and Supervisor overseeing our Dalston office and I have been qualified for almost 20 years. I specialise in all aspects of Family and Children Law proceedings, to include in the court of protection.

I am able to deal with court of protection matters concerning children. The Court of Protection ensures the voice of those without mental capacity is not unheard. Capacity means the ability to use and understand information to make a decision and communicate any decision made. If a person is not able to do this, they are deemed to lack capacity. Sometimes, at the end of care proceedings and when a child reaches the age of 18, they do not have the capacity to be able to litigate on their own behalf, requiring a litigation friend. I have the expertise to deal with these often vulberable clients, having the understanding to deal with the complex issues which can arise.
