Profile / Experience
I am a caseworker in the Public Law department working in Bahar Ata's team under the supervision of Joshua Chua. Since joining Duncan Lewis in March 2024 I have assisted on a variety of judicial review matters, including challenges to decisions of the Secretary of State for the Home Department to unlawful detain and remove clients, challenging implicit withdrawal of asylum claims, and assisting with several section 94 certification claims. I also assist with asylum and immigration matters, having passed the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme’s Level 2 exam.
I have previous experience working in private immigration matters and assisted with assisting with asylum claims within the Birmingham Law Centre.
