Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Child Care department at Duncan Lewis. I am based in the City of London and work within a team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers under the supervision of Director and Solicitor Laila Bhunnoo. I assist with a broad area of Child Care law including emergency protection, care and supervision orders. It is my role, under the supervision of Laila Bhunnoo, to ensure the voice of the child is heard and supported.
I have experience working as a caseworker in a Refugee law clinic, which I did on a voluntary basis throughout my studies at SOAS, University of London. I have also found time to volunteer within welfare and human rights matters elsewhere in London and abroad in Nepal, where I had the opportunity to work with survivors of child trafficking. These experiences have solidified my commitment to ensuring that the best interests of individuals are advocated for.
